The Design Office & Collections Division guarantees recognized quality!

The Design & Collections Department is located at IFS (Calvados).
This department is structured in such a way as to be able to respond to customer requests, both for patterns and gradations using computer tools and software, and for the execution of a model, taking into account specifications that may be subject to certain constraints (materials, accessories, etc.).
Rigorous monitoring and quality control are carried out at every stage of a project’s development, with the aim of zero defects.

The professions in the design office & collections division :

Prototyping
*

Prototypists work on industrial sewing machines and can produce a customer project from A to Z, based on a basic pattern and technical data, in compliance with safety regulations and technical and economic production imperatives (quality, productivity, deadlines).

CAD model maker
*

The pattern maker takes the designer's drawing and creates a model that will serve as the basis for manufacturing a garment. Using CAD (computer-aided design), he or she creates the pattern. From the pattern, a fabric prototype is submitted to the stylist, before being sent to production.

Prototyping ironer
*

This job involves ironing a garment at every stage, from ironing in progress to final ironing. Ironing is done with a specialized machine using moist heat.

"Prototyping hand stitch finisher
*

The finisher's job involves checking all the details of a garment, reworking if necessary, and adding buttons and accessories. This job requires meticulous attention to detail.

All these activities are carried out by employees with over 50 years of recognized know-how . This know-how is passed on to new employees who, over time, acquire the expertise needed to produce quality garments for customer projects.
The versatility they acquire also enables them to change jobs and produce garments at different stages.
