For over 50 years, France’s leading luxury ready-to-wear brands have entrusted their creations to the expert hands of the THIERRY-FONLUPT workshops, to benefit from our recognized expertise. These houses delegate the production of their women’s ready-to-wear projects to us. This unique, hand-crafted know-how is spread over four areas:
- Tailoring Division
- Leather Goods Division
- Blur Pole
- Design Collections Department
Our workshops have been awarded the E.P.V (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company) label, a recognition awarded by the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance as a company with excellent know-how. The THIERRY-FONLUPT establishments maintain this benchmark of excellence by passing on know-how dating back over half a century, while investing in innovation to maintain a focus on perfection and meet customer needs. This success was made possible by the skills of THIERRY-FONLUPT‘s teams.
Our expertise
Our know-how is divided into 4 areas of expertise
THIERRY-FONLUPT is organized into four business units, each with its own specific expertise, enabling us to respond to all types of customer projects, from sleeved pieces (jackets, coats, peacoats…), to flou (dresses, tops, scarves, blouses…), as well as fashion accessories in leather goods (scrunchies, straps, leather buckles…).
The combination of a fluid organization and the use of industrial tools, combined with our experienced seamstresses, guarantees quality production with a unique finish.

Thierry-Fonlupt workshops Recruit and train
Our workshops offer a range of different trades, enabling us to acquire the versatility needed to adapt to each new customer project. In each business sector we can find common trades, notably in the Blurred and Tailored Sectors, but with distinct techniques due to the materials used. We regularly recruit for our two sites (Calvados and Mayenne), so whether you’re a seasoned professional or looking for a career change, we can help you acquire the know-how recognized by French luxury brands. The luxury ready-to-wear professions require specific qualities (meticulousness, precision, dexterity, patience, attention to detail, dexterity…). With the aim of acquiring all or some of these qualities, THIERRY-FONLUPT has set up in-house training schools at its two sites to support new employees. During this training, new employees are coached by employees for weeks and months on end, to ensure they have the optimum level of know-how.
